Climbing Mount Beerwah in the Glasshouse Mountains, Sunshine Coast, Queensland

We recently had the joy of climbing Mount Beerwah with some friends. Mount Beerwah is set in the Glasshouse Mountains region of the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland Australia. More than just a bush walk or hike, climbing Mount Beerwah is probably the closest thing you can get to rock climbing without needing the ropes!

We think Chookarloo Campground in Kuitpo Forest is the perfect place for you to start your camping experience. Just 40km from Adelaide, $5 a night, shaded and private. With only a set number of camp sites available, this place can never be too busy with other campers and the rangers do a great job of keeping it clean and safe.
